There was another great turnout at the Camelia Grove Hotel for the game and we all left disappointed with the result.

Next weeks’ game is against another arch rival,Collingwood,at 2-10PM on Sunday April 6.
The game will be shown live on Channel 7 so it would be very tempting to take the easy option and watch it at home, but be a supporter not a barracker, and get together with other fair minded Richmond Supporters
I would really be grateful if as many of you as possible can make it to the Camelia Grove Hotel(146 Henderson Road Alexandria) as the Sydney Collingwood supporters group also watch the games at the same venue and we would really love to match their numbers.
Yours truly is down for the game as are about 5 regulars who watch the game at Camelia Grove.

We have just received the second instalment of a $500-00 sponsorship we were able to secure from the Camelia Grove Hotel as they like our group and appreciate our attendance to watch the games at their establishment.

So let’s get as many numbers we can to watch the game,it is a nice venue, the bistro will be open for lunch so you can enjoy one of the great meals that are available.

It’s always great to be at the pub when we have a win so hopefully the Tigers can give an improved performance.

Have a good week.

Yes it’s only one win so we don’t get carried away.
But it was against the old enemy,a club we despise.

It was a good win,at times seemed like the Richmond of old but they prevailed got a win to make our Easter that much better, let’s hope these young guys plus a few of the older guys
can keep it up, good for confidence to have a win first up.
A good night was had by those who turned up to Camelia Grove,we had a few new faces which was good and hope to see you back again.
Next game Sunday March 30 4-40PM v Kangaroos shown on Fox Sports, hope to see as many of you as possible there.

Round 1-TIGERS V BLUES

Well folks not long now until Round 1,let’s hope the boys can get off to a better start than last year.
Pre Season form was scratchy but this is where it all counts.
No injuries other than Trent Cotchin who is no back on the track and should be available in a couple of weeks.
A few of our guys are headed down and we wish them a good time and a Happy Easter.
For those of you who are in Sydney we welcome you to watch the game which is showing on Main Event Fox 518 and coverage commences at 6-00PM Thursday March 20 at our home base the Camelia Grove Hotel(Formerly Sports Inn) 146 Henderson Road Alexandria.
We had a good turnout for the NAB Cup game and hope to get another big turnout to cheer on the Tigers at a really good venue.
Food is good, staff and friendly and drinks flow all night.
It’s a public holiday on Friday so come down and let your hair down.
If you can’t make it may we wish you also a safe and Happy Easter and hope you can make it to the pub to watch a game.
Just a reminder for those who are entering the Tipping Competition,it’s not too late to join by the way, that registration is open and you would have received an email from the Tipping competition’s administrator Tim Frohlich.

NAB CUP FINAL

For those that are interested a few of us will be watching the Nab Cup Final at our sponsor
Camelia Grove Hotel.
The game is on Saturday night at 6-50PM,so if you have nothing planned pop down for a drink or two and support our sponsor.
A reminder to those that are on the committee that there is a meeting commencing at 6-30PM.

For those that are interested I wrote a letter to Terry Wallace wishing him and the team all the best for this year.
I believe as a representative of the club up here in Sydney I like to support the Club and the Coaching staff,I also respect as individuals you make your own choices and can express your thoughts on the current Coach.
I will say this that on the two occasions I have written to Terry Wallace he has replied on both occasions and appreciates that there are those living in Sydney who have a passion for the Tigers.
I have found Terry Wallace to always have time for the supporters and really hope that the Club has a good year and he can continue as Coach for years to come.
We have a very stable administration at the moment and all we need is for the Football team
to have some success we all crave.
Terry himself realises that with a full list available and some key players back that there are no excuses, but the Club is relishing the challenge ahead.

We have been and are a very loyal group of supporters so keep the faith and let’s hope that this year is a successful one for the Tigers.

Only three weeks until Round 1 against those Carlton,I hope we smash them.
